Where Contributions Go
The Sanctuary operates as a decentralized network. Central support is kept minimal to preserve hub autonomy, funding directly powers open educational infrastructure and microgrants that independent, autonomous hubs apply for to launch local projects:
- Ecological Microgrants: Providing direct microgrant funding to autonomous hubs for native pollinator habitats, bee sanctuaries, seed banks, and urban soil rewilding.
- Open Educational Infrastructure: Maintaining open-access field guides, Little Free Library blueprints, and seed-swap documentation for public download.
- Clean Energy Grants: Assisting independent local hubs with microgrants for small-scale solar arrays, off-grid battery kits, and community DIY power workshops.
- Local Mutual Aid Initiatives: Empowering autonomous local groups to fund their own neighborhood tool-sharing networks, community kitchens, and disaster response supplies.
