The Solarpunk Sanctuary

Welcome to The Solarpunk Sanctuary

We are an open-source, non-dogmatic community dedicated to practical naturalism, earth stewardship, and human flourishing. Solarpunk is a spiritual harmony between nature, technology, and humanity. We believe that caring for the earth, cultivating wisdom, and building resilient communities are sacred acts.

We gather around a shared ethos with deep recognition that all life, energy, and matter are interconnected. Like the natural flow of the world, our practice balances personal agency with community harmony. We honor the universal energy that binds us, developing, discovering, and passing down practical wisdom to nourish both people and planet.

Our 7 Core Principles

By keeping our Solarpunk Sanctuary strictly non-political and focused on practical stewardship, we ground our practice in tangible, shared work.

Our Spiritual Practice: Active Engagement & Living Syllabus

In our tradition, spiritual practice is what we do with our hands, minds, and hearts in daily life. We do not separate reverence from the physical act of planting a seed, mending a garment, or rendering first aid to a neighbor.

Our active engagement focuses on Cultivation, Care, and Learning through our open-source Living Syllabus. We are building the foundational curriculum of our living library, designed for lifelong stewards and integrated with age-appropriate roles so children learn care, capability, and confidence alongside adults.

I. Earth Stewardship

Food preservation, closed-loop sanitation, livestock, and passive shelter design.

II. Clean Energy & Tech

Off-grid power, tech autonomy, mesh radio networks, and circular repair.

III. Physical & Community Health

Cooperative care circles, integrative wellness, and household safety.

IV. Household & Local Economy

Textiles, garment repair, direct skill exchange, and seed vaults.
